Benchmade bringt mit der Water Class eine neue Produktlinie heraus, welche sich auf maritime Bedingungen und dem sonstigen Bereich von Wasserumgebungen spezialisiert hat. Alle Klingen werden aus MagnaCut Superstahl hergestellt. Für die Griffe wird Santoprene verwendet, welches zugleich extrem robust wie auch rutschfest ist.
Das Undercurrent ist ein zuverlässiges feststehendes Messer für den harten Gebrauch. Seine robuste Sheepfoot Klinge ist mit seiner Teilsägezahnung bestens zum Schneiden von kräftigen Schnüren, Leinen und Ködern geeignet. Die formgepresste Scheide ist für eine Schnellmontage an Taschen, Gürteln, Rucksäcken, Wathosen o. ä. geeignet.
