CPM-20CV
A high-quality, powder-metallurgical stainless tool steel that offers impressive performance, wear resistance, and edge retention, and provides corrosion resistance thanks to its elevated chromium content. Blades made of CPM-20CV steel are featured in the Longhouse® and Highbanks® models, which are part of the Bridgeline series.
Carbon Steel (CS)
The 1095 Carbon Steel belongs to a class of steel in which carbon is the most important alloying element, giving the steel high tensile strength, wear resistance, and toughness. CS steel is very similar to CV blades and is also known for its edge retention and ease of resharpening; however, compared to stainless steel, it is prone to tarnishing and rusting when exposed to air and moisture. A thin layer of oil preserves the steel’s original appearance and ensures many years of reliable service.

Nitro-V
The fine carbide structure of NITRO-V steel gives it toughness, excellent rust resistance, and versatility. NITRO-V steel is used in one of Chris Taylor's modern fixed-blade knives.
