Artisan Cutlery & CJRB Knives
Artisan Cutlery was founded in 2018 as a US knife brand based in California. Its production facility in Yangjiang, China, has been manufacturing knives since 2004, including contract production for international knife brands. Many years of manufacturing experience and modern CNC machinery support the production of high-quality knives across a range of price points and material categories. CJRB was introduced in 2019 as Artisan Cutlery’s more budget-oriented sister brand.
Artisan Cutlery develops distinctive models and collaborates with established and emerging designers. While the main brand ranges from practical everyday knives to premium versions featuring titanium and high-performance blade steels, CJRB focuses on functional knives at an accessible price point. With AR-RPM9 and the newer AR-SFII, Artisan Cutlery also uses two proprietary stainless blade steels produced using a spray-form process. AR-RPM9 is designed to provide balanced everyday performance, while AR-SFII expands the range with a more highly alloyed composition.
