Das neue Benchmade 593 PSK (Personal Survival Kit) ist vom Hersteller ursprünglich als robustes, leichtes Bushcrafting-Tool für den anspruchsvollen Outdoor-Enthusiasten entwickelt worden.
Es ist in 2 verschiedenen Versionen erhältlich:
Carbon Fiber und Black G10 mit rotem Daumenpin
Gray und OD Green G10
Beide Versionen besitzen eine Klinge aus korrosionsbeständigen CPM-MagnaCut (60-62 HRC) mit schwarzem Cerakote-Finish. Als Verschluss kommt der Benchmade Axis-Assist zum Einsatz, welche das Messer mittels Feder halbautomatisch öffnet. Am Klingenrücken befindet sich ein Sicherungspin, welches ein unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen der Klinge verhindert.
Als Besonderheit besitzt das PSK eine Schlagfläche auf der Klinge, mit der ein Feuerstab genutzt werden kann.
