Kanetsune Seki ist ein traditionsreicher japanischer Messerhersteller aus der Stadt Seki, die für ihre über 800-jährige Geschichte in der Schwertschmiedekunst bekannt ist. Ursprünglich spezialisiert auf die Herstellung von Samurai-Schwertern, bringt Kanetsune Seki diese jahrhundertealte Handwerkskunst in die moderne Messerkunst ein. 

Das Unternehmen fertigt Messer, die für ihre Präzision, Schärfe und Langlebigkeit geschätzt werden. Kanetsune Seki bietet sowohl industriell gefertigte Damastküchenmesser im europäischen Design an, als auch handgefertigte japanische Küchenmesser aus Weißem Papierstahl (Shirogami). Diese handgeschmiedeten Messer werden nach alten Traditionen gefertigt. Weißer Papierstahl ist bekannt für seine Reinheit und die Fähigkeit, äußerst scharfe Klingen zu erzeugen. 

Durch die Kombination von industriellen Fertigungsmethoden und traditioneller Handarbeit gelingt es Kanetsune Seki, Messer herzustellen, die sowohl moderne Anforderungen erfüllen als auch das Erbe der Samurai-Schwertschmiedekunst bewahren.
