Das von lionSTEEL in Italien gefertigte Spyderco Slym basiert auf einem Entwurf von Michele Pensato. Seine kugelgelagerte Drop-Point-Klinge aus M390 lässt sich über das runde Klingenloch oder einen abnehmbaren Flipper öffnen; der durchgehende Flachschliff sorgt für gute Schneideigenschaften. Klinge und einteiliger Titangriff tragen eine schwarze WCC-Beschichtung, zu der die schwarz-weiße Carbonfasereinlage von fatcarbon einen deutlichen Kontrast bildet. Die in den Griff integrierte Verriegelung besitzt einen gehärteten Stahleinsatz; ein beidseitig umsetzbarer Clip ermöglicht einen Deep Carry.
