Das SRM Scout 7229-AK ist ein kompaktes Taschenmesser, das sich mit seinen 70 g gut für unterwegs eignet. Die Klinge aus 14C28N ist DLC-beschichtet; der Griff besteht aus grauem Aluminium. Zum Öffnen dient der dezent in die Kontur integrierte Invisible Flipper. Die Kugellagerung unterstützt den Klingengang, während der beidseitig bedienbare Ambi-Lock die Klinge verriegelt. Der Taschenclip lässt sich auf die gewünschte Griffseite umsetzen.
